Safe, health positive nature experiences are especially scarce in the urban core. A recent report by the Hispanic Access Foundation and the Center for American Progress confirms that communities of color are three times more likely than white communities to live in “nature deprived areas”.
We believe all kids deserve safe, affordable access to engaging nature experiences. Endless Outdoors is re-imagining how kids come to know the great outdoors, providing them a foundation for a positive life-long connection to nature.
We aim to raise $50,000 through this year’s second annual Trailside Social to continue to offer accessible nature access to every child in the KC metro.
